Deleting your Ledgr account

You can delete your account and your data at any time. There are two ways.

In the app

More → Security → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm, and then it is done.

By email

Write to support@ledgr.mobi from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm within seven days.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email address and login
• Your books: income, expenses, invoices, clients, payroll records
• Every document and receipt photograph you uploaded
• Your notification and device tokens

What we have to keep, and for how long

Tax law requires records supporting a filed return to be kept for five years. Where a return has been filed on figures from your account, we keep the minimum needed to support it for that period and nothing else — it is not used for anything, and it is deleted when the period ends.

We also keep the record of payments you made to us for as long as our own accounting obligations require.

Before you delete

Export your books first — More → Your books → Download. Once your account is deleted we cannot get your records back for you.
